Auto-Mag® FFPE Tissue DNA Isolation Kit utilizes paramagnetic bead–based technology to efficiently extract DNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples—without the use of xylene. The kit includes a proprietary dewaxing reagent that is fully compatible with the extraction buffers, eliminating the need for fluid transfers and enabling the entire workflow to be completed within a single centrifuge tube. This design minimizes sample loss and prevents cross-contamination between samples. The purified DNA offers high yield, excellent integrity, and is free of inhibitors, making it suitable for a wide range of downstream applications, including qPCR, mutation analysis, microarray analysis, sequencing, SNP genotyping, and STR genotyping.
Auto-Mag® FFPE Tissue DNA Isolation Kit supports both manual operation and automated workflows. It is fully compatible with platforms such as the KingFisher™ series, the IsoPure automated purification system, and most magnetic rod–based liquid handling systems.
