Auto-Mag® Multi-Sample DNA Isolation Kit

Auto-Mag® Multi-Sample DNA Isolation Kit is based on paramagnetic bead technology and specifically designed to work with IsoPure Automated Purification System, KingFisher™ platforms and most of the magnetic rod liquid handling systems. The kit is a scalable, rapid purification of high-quality DNA from a variety of sample matrices, such as whole blood, saliva, buccal swabs, dried blood spot sample, tissue, cell culture, buffy coat, and other bodily fluids. The extraction process combines high-quality magnetic beads with optimized buffers to yield high-quality DNA that can be directly used in a broad range of molecular biology downstream applications, such as sequencing, genotyping, NGS and qPCR without the need for further purification.

Auto-Mag® Multi-Sample DNA Isolation Kit includes programmed Automated protocols for IsoPure Automated Purification System and are compatible most of the magnetic rod liquid handling systems The fast procedure allows for samples to be processed in 30-60 minutes. The kit also includes a reference protocol for the KingFisher Flex and KingFisher Duo Prime systems. The reagent configuration of the kit are compatible with the isolation settings of KingFisher purification systems. Users can directly follow the purification settings and steps of KingFish system to complete the purification of their respective samples with Auto-Mag® Multi-Sample DNA Isolation Kit.

Comparison of consistent DNA Isolation and yields

Figure Left: Comparison of consistency DNA Isolation and yields. Ten saliva samples were collected and pooled together. DNA was then extracted from aliquots of  50µL, 100µL, 200µL & 400µL of pooled saliva samples using Auto-Mag® Multi-Sample DNA Isolation Kit verse two competitors’ kits. DNA isolation was processed on the IsoPure Mini Automated Purification System. The isolated DNA was measured using NanoDrop 2200c spectrophotometer, with the results indicating that the DNA isolation was consistent between the samples .  In terms of determined recovery, Auto-Mag® Multi-Sample DNA Isolation Kit shows a higher recovery than the competitor’s kits.
