Auto-Mag® Plant DNA CTAB Kit

Auto-Mag® Plant DNA CTAB Kit is designed for reliable isolation of genomic DNA from a broad range of plant tissues. The optimized workflow combines CTAB-based lysis with magnetic bead–based DNA purification, providing effective disruption of plant material while reducing polysaccharides, polyphenols, proteins, salts, and other contaminants that can interfere with downstream molecular analysis.

Following sample homogenization and CTAB lysis, plant genomic DNA is captured using magnetic beads under optimized binding conditions. Subsequent wash steps remove residual contaminants, and purified DNA is eluted for immediate use in PCR, genotyping, sequencing, and other molecular biology applications.

The kit provides a practical alternative to conventional CTAB extraction by integrating the effectiveness of CTAB chemistry with the convenience and scalability of magnetic bead purification.

1. Disrupt and Lysis plant samples.
