Auto-Mag® Plant DNA CTAB Kit combines CTAB-based extraction chemistry with magnetic bead technology for the rapid and reliable purification of high-quality genomic DNA from a wide range of plant samples. The optimized formulation effectively removes polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, and other inhibitors, eliminating the need for organic extraction. The purified genomic DNA is suitable for a broad range of downstream applications, including restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, next-generation sequencing (NGS), Southern blotting, microarray analysis, and hybridization assays.

The protocol is optimized for manual use and can be readily adapted for automated nucleic acid purification systems. Auto-Mag® Plant DNA CTAB Kit is fully compatible with automated workflows, including KingFisher™ platforms, the IsoPure Automated Purification System, and most magnetic rod–based liquid handling systems.

Plant DNA Extraction Workflow

  4. Wash magnetic to remove contaminants.
  5. Elute DNA from magnetic beads.
