Auto-Mag® Tissue DNA/RNA Co-Isolation Kit utilizes specialized lysis chemistry and Auto-Mag® magnetic bead technology for the efficient isolation of high-quality total nucleic acids, genomic DNA, or RNA from 10–30 mg of tissue or up to 1 × 10⁶ cultured cells. Unlike conventional methods that require separate kits for DNA and RNA extraction, this kit employs a single set of reagents and a unified protocol to enable either co-isolation of total nucleic acids or selective purification of DNA or RNA. The purified nucleic acids are ready for immediate use in a wide range of downstream applications, including NGS, RNA-Seq, RT-PCR, and hybridization assays, providing a streamlined and efficient solution for modern molecular biology workflows.

Workflow for Tissue DNA/RNA Co-Isolation

  1. Disrupt and Lysis  tissue or cells.
  2. Add beads to bind nucleic acids.
  3. Separate the beads from contaminants
  4. Remove DNA or RNA
  5. Rebinding RNA or DNA
  6. Wash magnetic to remove contaminants.
  7. Elute  DNA  or RNA from magnetic beads.
