The Auto-Mag® Total RNA Isolation Kit is specifically designed for purifying total RNA from a wide range of tissues and cultured cells. The kit employs a specialized lysis process combined with Auto-Mag® magnetic particle technology to isolate high-quality total RNA from 5–30 mg of tissue or 1 × 10⁶ cultured cells. The purified RNA is compatible with various downstream applications, including RNA-Seq, RT-PCR, NGS, and hybridization techniques.
Total RNA Extraction Workflow
- Disrupt and Lysis tissue or cells.
- Add beads to bind nucleic acids.
- Separate the beads from contaminants
- Remove DNA
- Rebinding RNA
- Wash magnetic to remove contaminants
- Elute RNA from magnetic beads

Extractions were performed in triplicate, and each extracted RNA sample was analyzed individually using the Agilent TapeStation 2200. The figure illustrates the analysis of the extracted total RNA, which demonstrates high-quality RNA with a RIN greater than 8.5.
