Product Information

Highlights

  • Surface carboxyl groups enable easy and efficient covalent coupling to biomolecules using standard carbodiimide chemistry.
  • Low nonspecific binding and excellent sensitivity provide greater detection accuracy and reliability.
  • Rapid magnetic response and excellent physical stability enable fast separation while maintaining bead integrity.
  • Compatibility with automated detection workflows enhances efficiency, consistency, and reproducibility.

Auto-Mag® Carboxyl Nanobeads (C-30) are superparamagnetic nanobeads with a hydrophilic, carboxyl-functionalized surface. Surface carboxyl groups (–COOH) can be activated using EDC or EDAC chemistry to form stable covalent amide bonds with primary amines (–NH₂), enabling efficient coupling and immobilization of antibodies, antigens, proteins, amine-modified nucleic acids, and other ligands. With a high specific surface area, uniform particle size, narrow size distribution, and specialized surface coating, Auto-Mag® Carboxyl Nanobeads (C-30)  provide high binding capacity with minimal nonspecific binding to proteins and nucleic acids. Their dense structure enables rapid and efficient magnetic separation. Once conjugated, the beads are suitable for a broad range of research and diagnostic applications, including IVD, CLIA, immunoprecipitation (IP), cell sorting and capture, affinity separation, and other immunoassays applications.
