Auto-Mag® Yeast DNA Miniprep Kit utilizes advanced magnetic bead technology for the reliable and efficient isolation of genomic DNA from a wide range of fungal species. The workflow begins with lysis buffer addition, followed by bead mill homogenization and enzymatic digestion to ensure effective DNA release. Magnetic beads then capture the DNA under optimized binding conditions. After two rapid wash steps to remove salts and protein contaminants, the purified DNA is eluted and recovered. The extracted DNA typically ranges from 35 to 60 kb in size and is suitable for a variety of downstream applications, including PCR, restriction enzyme digestion, and hybridization assays.
