Auto-Mag® Micro-Select

Auto-Mag® Micro Select consists of AMD Biotech’s own paramagnetic beads and compatible buffers and is designed to recover and purify the small DNA Fragments as low as 15bp easily from sheard DNA fragments, PCR, RT-PCR, reaction, and  Enzyme digestion. Another remarkable function is the small size DNA fragment selection. It can be used to select different size range of DNA fragment (15bp up) from a mixture of 15bp up DNA fragments by using the suitable procedure. The purified small DNA fragments can be used directly in PCR, fluorescent or radioactive sequencing, restrictive enzyme digestion, DNA labeling and ligation, etc.

Auto-Mag® Micro-Select uses magnetic technology, and it is suitable for manual procedures as well as for adapting it to automatic liquid handling workstations.

Small size range DNA fragment was selectable  recovered using Auto-Mag® Micro-Select at ratio of 1.2x/0.8x ( recover 15-50bp), 1.0x/1.0x (recover 15-75bp), 0.8x/1.2x (recover 15-100bp) and 0.4x/1.6x (recover 15-300bp) with double size selection from a mixture of Ultra Low Range DNA and 100bp.  DNA Ladder. Data was analyzed  on Agilent’s TapeStation 2200
